Which martial art is best for getting into shape?

I sit all day in front of a computer so I can go home and sit all night in front of a computer again. I want to get into shape and maybe learn a little self defense on the side, which martial would be good for something like that?

    I think taekwondo is an excellent choice. It requires the use of your entire body so it helps tone and structure your muscles and it also helps with flexibility and stamina.

    Anything that gets you moving around. Many have a warmup and exercises at start of class.

    Find 1 your comfortable with. There are a lot of inexpensive or even free ones thru park districts, YMCA, community centers and even community or local college. And most like that would be perfect for what you are looking into

    it depends on the instructor and the class itself not the style.
