How to say no?

So I work where we are hired on a weekly basis, and basically everyone wants to work. I haven't worked in three weeks, and one of my co workers asked if he can take my shift because for the next two weeks he is on vacation. How do I say no to him?

Just say "no." That would be the logical thing to do.

You just say "No. I need the money" .

NO. That's how. Why should you give up money for him? Grow a backbone!

That's a really lousy employer. It sounds like they might be violating multiple laws, too. But I agree that your answer is that you need the money.

Tell him,” I would dude but I haven’t worked for three weeks and I need money”.
