Cultures and groups : Does the current governor of Puerto Rico look like a typical Spaniard from Barcelona or Madrid?

    Yes he could be a typical Spaniard. In fact, he is likely of full Spanish descent. He does have somewhat recent Spanish heritage too.

    Rosselló's paternal great-grandfather, Pedro Juan Rosselló Batle, immigrated in 1902 at the age of 23 from Lloseta, Mallorca, Spain.

    That's why his last name is Catalan in particular.
