Why is my 18 year old extremely immature?

My daughter is 18 years old and she sneaks out of the house and has unprotected sex with her friend. She’s acting like she’s 16 years old.. this isn’t something you expect from an 18 year old.

The answer lies in the parenting skills and effort you put into this child along the way. Maybe you should place a little blame where it most likely belongs. On your own shoulders.

Or anybody actually, which is why people tend to consider it wrong and bad behavior, we don’t expect it from anyone

The maturity of an 18 year old, especially in an adult relationship with a friend, has to be respected. The 18 year old is legally an adult. But she lives still with her mother and should listen to good advice. It's about all the mother can do to try to avoid a calamity.

She's in open rebellion against you (lack of discipline growing up,no father in the home?). Best thing to do is let life give her a real good swift kick in the rear and don't be there to catch her when she falls, let her get up on her own two feet. But for right now, draw boundaries and if she gets threatening, call the Police.
