What does "bloody" mean in British, Irish, Kiwi and Aussie English, please?
What would the American and Canadian equivalent be? I don't mean in its literal contexts. I mean when people say stuff like "You're a bloody idiot!", "Don't be so bloody stupid!" and "I'll bloody kill her!"

It's mild swearing over here in the U.K. and even milder still- (so I'm told), in Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. It's probably pretty much equivalent to America's and Canada's "goddamn".

It would be about equivalent to damn or damned in north America. A mild swear word.

it means the worst of the worst or "the most"
like "Bloody hell" means the Most shocked or the worst shock.

In modern parlance, it doesn't mean anything. It's basically mild swearing.
