Accidentals next to Time signature Question:?
Say if on the Treble cleft I place a Flat on E in the fourth Octave... Would this mean that the only E that should be flatted, would be the E in the fourth Octave...Or does this mean I should Flat all E’s in every Octave?

If you are in the key of E flat, or some other key that contains an E flat in its scale of notes, then placing a flat symbol next to the E note is just a reminder to the musician reader that E has to be flatted. Otherwise, the key in which you are playing or composing will automatically call for a flatted E wherever it appears, if you are in the key of E flat, or if your key's scale plays an E flat for that key.
