Songs of Praise has been supplanted by Pointless Celebrities on BBC Instead of inspiring stories of Christian faith to get us thro these?

Update:

Dark and difficult times we have to look on at pointless celebrities and a load of nonsense

The powers that be really have a problem with Jesus and the Christian god ?

Good. Songs of Praise it treacly, superstitious rubbish.

It certainly looks that way as part of an unsubtle agenda to unsettle people and cause them to believe in everything or nothing at the same time. But since the late 1950's don't you think that 'doublethink' has been the default position of the BBC? (ie. The acceptance of contrary opinions or beliefs at the same time, especially as a result of political indoctrination.)

"Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad" as in the poem "The Masque of Pandora" (1875), by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

However, those who want to access faith TV can find it aplenty on the various God channels. In the context of Armageddon-callers, that also means that the word of god is already being preached everywhere. Only hardly anyone is hearing it.

Even the films we watch now are devoid of positive-moral stories and we are left either as voyeurs of failed individuals or fans of non-conformity.

You might need to move this to a different category.

I hope that means the end of the "God Slot" but there must be a better programme than 'Pointless Celebrities' to replace it.
