    series/parallel circuits do not have advantqges or disadvantages. They are what they are.

    When you design a circuit, typically it consists of dozens or hundreds or thousands of components, connected together in various ways, some items in series, some in parallel, most in more complex ways. You use what is necessary.

    You can figure this out for yourself if you do a truth table for AND (series) and OR(parallel)

    That's a bit like asking what are 2 advantages of round shapes over square shapes. It is meaningless without some context.

    However, if we think in terms of bulbs, one advantage of a parallel arrangement is that if one bulb burns out, the other stays on (not true for series).
