Why do we only see one step on the moon on the pictures taken ? Where are the other steps when Armstrong walked around?

    If you look at more pictures, not just the pretty ones released to the media, you will see plenty of footsteps on the moon.

    Because that was the 1st historical human footprint on the Moon and the mission wasn't just to take footprints on the Moon although there were plenty of others if you looked closely at other images while the crew were undertaking important scientific investigations.
