How many energy drinks can my boyfriend safely consume a day?
He's running for mayor and he thinks the best way to gain an advantage is to keep his energy levels at its "optimal." So from attending public speaking classes and reading a bunch, he's been drinking around five Red Bulls or three Monster Energy's? He's very obsessive to the point of focusing so hard on his goals that he will only get 1-3 hours of sleep a night with his hyperactive personality. He compensates by consuming sugary beverages or loading himself up with caffeine.
Surely, this isn't good for his health or his mind. Especially, when you're up until 3:00 AM, and reading books on historical wars or studying strong leadership traits.

Caffeine doesn't do anything to energy. It simply masks fatigue. And it cannot do it forever, something has to give. Energy drinks are bad for you in general, caffeine isn't terrible but the other stuff they contain is.
The best way to gain an advantage is to be a better candidate than his opponents. There is a time to do the things that need done, and a time to rest and recharge. A person who doesn't understand this isn't very good at every day life - how could they be good at a particular job?
