In one of my accounting classes my professor said that effort=outcome is impossible. Does anyone know why? I forgot.?

    If it were a physics or engineering class, I'd say because it would violate the laws of thermodynamics. Some amount of energy is lost as friction or heat (or sound), so no machine is 100% efficient.

    That means he can randomly deduct points on your exam.
