Does having a heart attack make you lose your job and house?

    In the U.K, not likely. Unless you cannot return to work and can’t pay bills but you won’t have to worry about medical insurance or anything like that. Life is very cruel though, unless you’re born rich and stay rich you are screwed in life.

    Depends on how much damage is done to the heart. I returned to work after a week.

    I was getting a normal physical exam and the doctor decided to send me to the ER as I had some atrial fibrillation. I lay on a gurney for 3 hours while several people fussed over my racing heart. Medicine, EKG and concern and I went home. Got the bill today, almost $7000. Sure glad I have medicare insurance.

    I mean when my dad had a heart attack he died so I guess technically he did lose his house

    That's depends on the health insurance costs if its serious and you need a lot of help to recover then yes it can cost a lot
