Just formatted my laptop. How to minimize the size of the search bar? Can I still activate Cortana? HOw?

Just click anywhere outside of the search bar window (the big black window) and it will minimise
You normally activate cortana by speaking "Hey Cortana" into the microphone. Allternatively go to settings, Cortana to setup Cortana
