    Mushrooms go bad pretty fast. Use them before they become slimy.

    Zucchini, cucumbers, spinach, strawberries and blueberries because every time I buy these go bad really quickly in the fridge if I don't use them up quickly.

      I freeze blueberries and strawberries in trays,
      then pack them into sandwich bags as individual portions.
      I have 5 kilos of blueberries frozen right now.

    You have some odd answers! ALL food is best fresh. Who in their right mind would prefer milk that wasn't fresh?

    Fresh doesn't mean “not ready for consumption”, it means “not stale”.

    Wine. You don’t want your wine too fresh.

    Milk. It needs to be pasteurized to be safe.

    Supposedly beef

    which (supposedly) tastes horrid unless it is aged (properly).

    Similarly, I would suppose:

    wine

    many types of cheese

    etc.

      I have had "fresh" and "gamey" tasting beef, I would absolutely hate it if that was all I ever knew,

      Are you saying you prefer them frozen or canned?

    bananas: they ripen too fast. I buy just a couple at a time;

    Coleslaw in packs...rots, even in the icebox;

    Not a big fan of spinach either.
