Should 'spray rinse' on the washing machine get rid of all detergent? If not am I using too much detergent?

why not just run the washer on full load with no clothes in there and no added detergent?

Keep in mind that if you think your washer has detergent in it after doing a load of clothes, the clothes probably still have detergent in them too.

If you are confident that the rinse cycle got all the detergent out of your clothing, why would it not come out of the washer?
