Can electronic devices cause ear wax build up?

    I remember when I would play cod I would use my headset and I remember cleaning my ears and doing it after wearing them for so long and it seemed like it caused a little more to be formed in your ear, but its more noticeable with earbuds, I suggest you try to find out, its something I observed.

    I think it depends. I don't think cell phones cause wax buildup, but if you wear hearing aids or frequently insert earbuds it might. I don't know if this counts, but I wear hearing aids and my ears get itchy from wax every few weeks.

    Wax buildup can occur ON and IN electronic things,

    but those things do not Originate the buildup.
