d = st
t = d/s
t = (1.8miles)/(15mph)
t =0.12 hours or 7min and 12 seconds..

Distance = rate * time
Let T = time
1.8 miles = 15 mph * T
T = 1.8 miles/15 mph = .12 hours = .12 * 60 minutes = 7.2 minutes

t = d/s
t = 1.8/15
t = 0.12 hours (multiply 0.12 by 60)
t = 7.2 minutes (multiply 0.2 by 60)
t = 7 minutes 12 seconds

A constant 15mph is 1 mile in 4 minutes.
So 1.8 miles, which is 18/10 miles will take (18*4)/10 = 7.2 minutes
If you need the seconds part, notice that 0,2 of 1 minute is 1/5 of 60 seconds which is 12 seconds.
Answer 7 minutes 12 seconds
Best to allow 10 or more minutes because with traffic and traffic lights the speed of the scooter will probably vary from exactly 15 mph the whole way..

Failed 4th grade math did you? And you can actually qualify for a job? Amazing.
15 mph divided by 60 minutes = 0.25 miles per minute.
1.8 miles divided by 0.25 miles per minute = 7.2 minutes
7.2 minutes = 7 minutes and 12 seconds.
