What is the most common way of asking these type of questions in USA, in SPOKEN English?
Example: you are confused that who will clean the room, so you ask "do I clean the room?"
Similarly: Do I turn it off?
Do I shut the door

Is it my turn to clean the room?
Should I turn it off? Do you want me to turn it off?
Should I close the door? Do you want mr to close the door?

Probably substitute, “should” for, “do” in each of those examples.
