Why do some people never leave their hometown?

    Because they don't feel the need to. They have everything they need, right there. Friends, family, a job, and a home, places to go. Some people don't need any kind of excitement short of their own front door and are perfectly content to just be.

    Maybe they don't need to. You don't always improve yourself by leaving town. I was able to get a very good paying job right here.

    Actually big cities have somewhat less accessibility to conveniences. I lived in one for three months one time. I was glad to go back home, really.

    They don't like traveling

    they can't afford it.

    They have nowhere to go.

    They might have some type of anxiety.

    They are contented enough , I say that because discontent lead me to get the hell away from mine .
