Do you have a simple ground beef electric skillet recipe?

nothing too complicated or expensive

    brown 1 pound ground beef with onions, garlic, diced celery. Drain fat. Add 2 cups macaroni, and stir to brown slightly. Add 3 cups water, salt and pepper to taste. bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Stir every 10 minutes or so, tasting the pasta to see how tender they are.

    When the pasta is tender, turn off heat. Add cheese of choice and a dash of milk if you have it. If not, add a dash of water. Stir and return to low heat, stirring till the cheese is melted.

    You now have cheeseburger mac. Easy as those hamburger helpers but YOU control the salt, the veggies, etc.

    You can do the same thing with any pasta or rice and add what ever sauce you like.

    A packet of beef gravy and using egg noodles is good.

    A jar or your own pasta sauce is good and you have old fashioned hamburger hot dish. If you can see it in the store, you can make it yourself without buying hamburger helper.

    Brown 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef in two Tb butter over meduim heat while you chop 3 carrots to a fine dice. Add the carrots when they are diced and give it all a stir, while that sizzles away finely chop the stems of a bunch of chard, add them to the pan and stir. While that continues to sizzle roll the chard leaves into a tight cigar shape and slice as finely as you can for thin ribbons of chard. Toss that whole pile on top fo the sizzling carrot/meat mixture and let it cook til the pile of chard ‘collapses’. Add 2-4 cups of clean water or broth, stir and reduce heat to a low simmer, simmer til vegetables are very tender.

    Brown the beef in a little oil, add diced onion, diced carrots, dried herbs, garlic salt, pepper, cook down for a while then add some canned, chopped tomatoes, a pinch of sugar [for the tomato acidity], simmer for 5 minutes, add a splash of worcestershire sauce, stir well.

    This recipe is a basic one that can be used for pasta dishes, Moussaka, Shepherds/Cottage pie, Sloppy joes, Chili [with extra seasoning], Or just as a dish with 'biscuits' or dumplings.

    Chop a potato into tiny pieces. Butter fry that with leeks and garlic. When that starts softening up, toss in the meat with peppers of choice, bell, poblano, habanero or better. When it all starts looking cooked and drying out, pour over some canned corn with the brine to deglaze. Turn off heat and stir. Splash on some extra salt and Tabasco sauce.

    It looks like prison slop but you're in a tiny apartment smaller than a prison cell. However, it tastes like impoverished post war home.

    Your best answer: I'll use tomato sauce instead of the water, add some black olives, and cook the macaroni separately. And LOTS of cheddar cheese. Sounds different but it is only slightly different.

    If you want to make taco meat, add some garlic (fresh or powder), onion (fresh or powder), cumin, chili powder, oregano, paprika salt and pepper. Add a can of crushed tomatoes and kidney beans if you want chili.

    If you want to make spaghetti sauce, brown the meat, then add some garlic, onion, basil, oregano, marjoram, bay leaf, a large can of crushed or diced tomatoes, a small can of tomato paste and a small can of tomato sauce.

    It's hard to give you amounts since you didn't say how much ground beef you have or what the fat content is.

    Brown the ground beef. Add in ranch style beans and serve with biscuits and Cesar salad.
