Can one wash with a pressure washer on the cash take paint of the car?

I had it done at a car wash, and the guys with the pressure washer did it, it did seem like quite a powerful pressure washer and a few days later i've noticed white marks on my car, i just didn't notice it before and wondering if it could have been the pressure washer?

The white marks are oxidation and pressure washing does not cause that.

If it's new, soft paint then a powerful pressure washer can indeed damage it. It it's not that, try again in English.

Or is this detergent they didn't wash off properly?

Sure that's why pressure washers are banned in all countries. (Rolls eyes)

It is impossible to take the paint off a car while washing it with a pressure washer - my Dad regularly uses a pressure washer and our car looks as shiney as the day when it was bought.
