Why won't republican politicians provide critical funds to help the 9/11 first responders?

The GOP all supported a tax cut for the rich, while adding a trillion of dollars to our national debt, but they won't support a program to provide to our 9/11 first responders because it's too expensive?

Seriously? Can anyone explain this to me?

Jon Stewart.....a comedian, finally had to SHAME them into extending funding, after his most excellent rant went viral.

Had it not been for a liberal comedian, absolutely shaming the CRAP out of congress........they would have cut the funding.

Do you know what a "rider" to a bill is?

As I recall, this one is loaded with intentional, suicide-pill riders.

Hardheartedness is a right wing ideology. As long as they have theirs, screw the rest. The left wing tries to pull those less fortunate up w/ things like expanded Medicaid, raising the minimum wage etc. The right wing works for the wealthy.

there's not enough money left after the tax cuts. we are under budget now and running up the deficit so corporations can get richer.
