Have you ever tried (or are willing to try) a pickle sandwich, using the pickle as a bun instead of bread? What did you like or dislike?

Heard of it but not willing to try. Too much pickle even for me and I love those things

I generally prefer to keep my hands dry, and also to eat large sandwiches. I've yet to see a pickle fat enough to give a slice as big as a standard piece of bread.

They take jumbo whole pickles and hollow out the seed area, them stuff both sides with sandwich fillings.

No that would be very sour.

A pickle is too wet, and doesn't have enough structure, to serve as the bread in a sandwich. Besides, to me, pickles and meat tastes like spoiled meat so I don't eat them together.

To me pickle is a spread, so how can it be used in place of bread?

Pickles are a type of brined cucumber.

A pickle won't hold enough meat and toppings. The taste, however, is very good.

Yes they do. They use whole pickles and hollow them out
