Are my parents normal, or about average?

I have asked them 100 times, please let me

be a vegetarian. I only want to eat nothing

but fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans and

fish. Is there anything really wrong that?

Any time I say "no thank you. I'd rather

make my own meals please." Mom gets

hysterical and acts like she's going to

disown me. I mean, honestly...it's really bad.

She yells and starts throwing things;

and threatens to put me on psychiatric-medicine.

They don't even eat healthy, themselves. They

only want to eat pasta, steak, potatoes, friend

chicken, take out pasta and Chinese food. My

own father says I'm not allowed to go to the market,

to buy my own food.

Advice Please

Pasta and potatoes are still vegetarian, but fish isn't. So I guess just eat the sides and avoid the meat until such time as you can start buying and preparing your own food.

If you actually were a vegetarian you wouldn't be eating any animals including fish. There's no such thing as a fish-eating vegetarian. Your attempt at trolling sucks.

The most harmful food that anybody can eat is starch, and/or refined sugar. Being a vegetarian can be healthy, but you will suffer from possible Iron deficiency and vitamin B12 deficiency if you are not careful. In truth, the healthiest diet that one can eat is rich in fruits and vegetables with a smattering of lean meats, and no starch or refined sugar. Ask your parents to have your family doctor suggest a healthy diet for you. Good luck.

Your parents appear to be raising a troll.

I do not recommend asking this a hundred and first time.
