If you were in search of a permanent career, marriage, and totally new friends, would you move to Miami, or Orlando[Florida]?

It depends on what kind of friends you want to make. I've lived in the Orlando area- if you're a MAGA hat wearing Trump supporter, it's the place for you. Miami has a much more diverse population- a lot of northerners, especially from New York, and a lot of Spanish speakers. If you want a vibrant night life, choose Miami. BUT- the seas are rising. Miami is budgeting billions to shore up the coast against global warming, but it's a little tricky to buy property there now.

As much as I love Florida, when I think of what a pain in the backside it is to survive here, I'd avoid Florida at all costs.

    It makes no difference.

    No.

I already live in a sauna. I don't want even more heat and humidity.

No. I wouldn't. Florida is one of the last places I;d go.
