Is it true that someone can still be a loser even if they won hundreds of medals in sports competing at the world level?

They may be good at sports, but not be a good sport.

They may be good at sports , but have a defective personality

They may be good at sports, but have very poor personal hygiene

Depends what kind of 'loser' .

Not really. Hundreds and at the world level? Even if they’re dumb or suck or whatever that’s impressive!

A person who wins is a winner.

Depends on your definition of "loser".

It is often the case that people may excel in one sphere of human activity but be relatively useless in other spheres.

For example I have met many people with high academic qualifications but little or no common sense.

In the same way a high achiever in sport may not be a very good husband/wife or parent, so are they a winner or a loser ?
