Should i exercise or rest on the first day of a 5 day fast?

I would say no and take it easy. Wait until you have a snack at least in your system so you have some energy and so that you're not raising your insulin levels to where you can't burn fat but if you workout while you're fasting it's not only gonna make you hungrier but you're gonna feel even more tired, more drained of energy, and you're gonna feel bad overall. If i were you i would just finish the fast and then workout.

It depends on the reasons for fasting. If it's for weight loss then exercise. If any other reason maybe rest and go easy.
