What’s the best temperature to store vhs tapes in so they won’t get damaged?

    Between 55 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit (13 to 21 Celsius), with 30-55% humidity.

    I have at least 100 VHS tapes I mean to copy to DVD someday. These are over 20 years old and fine at room temperature and 60% humidity as is found inside most homes.

    vhs tapes are magnetic memories ... they got worse by passing the time ..

    the earth magnetic fields affects them ...

    it is better to convert them into the DVD ...
