Before you change out the hard drive, create a recovery drive you can use to reinstall Windows 10 on your SSD.

Windows 10 has an option to create recovery media, and most of the major laptop manufacturers have a utility pre-installed as well.

To use the built-in Windows utility, get a USB drive (at least 16GB or bigger) and follow these instructions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026852/w...

Don't worry about licensing. Windows 10 should be able to reactivate itself with a digital license, or in the case of most pre-installed versions, it will pull the embedded key from your motherboard.

You can buy cloning software where you clone the HDD to the SSD.
