Bumped into person who I forgiven 18 mnths ago. She expected me to small talk w/ her, decided not. Politely spoke then moved on;was I rude?

    No you weren't rude. Contrary to what many people think forgiveness is not the same as forgetting.

    Forgiving is removing the significance of one from your life which means you have the option whether to extend or not that significance.

    Forgiveness does not require forgetfulness, and places no burden on you to be their friend or even trust them. Sometimes, self protection justifies rudeness.
