Car makes a screeching sound, wasn't there, makes it here and there but usually when I'm up to and above 30, pads/rotor good, thoughts?

    It might be a wheel bearing. You should have it checked out as soon as you can.

    If the noise goes away when you apply the brakes you're hearing the brake pad indicators rubbing on the rotors. Time for a brake job.

    If the sound changes with speed it's probably a wheel bearing.

    Sounds like the issue is that your car makes a screeching sound when it's above 30.
