What is an easier way to make breadcrumbs other than grating?

A food processor or blender work great. I also just crush them with a rolling pin

If you haven t got a food processor, and you want crispy crumbs such to coat something, just put your slices of bread into a low oven to dry out then put into a plastic bag, then bash em with a rolling pin or something heavy lol

Put the stale / hard bread through a mincer?

Via the blender or the food processor. Just don't process them too much... or else you'll get dust, not crumbs. Oh, and make sure the bread is somewhat stale, or at least not "fresh out of the oven."

I toast the bread and throw it in the blender or food processor and voila. I never buy store brought bread crumbs. Just seems like a waste of money.

You got some good advise here.
However, I made friends with the bakery employee who saves the bread crumbs from the bread slicer for me when I ask nicely and leave a good tip when she serves me a bagel and coffee.

Food processor and toaster both work well

Depending on how large you want the crumbs bashing them with a heavy bottom pot or a rolling pin (place the stale bread chunks in a zip top bag)
If you have a grinder attachment that would work

Put them into a food processor.

Work in the same place as us because we get paid in breadcrumbs.
