Is the parents are smart, will the children likely be smart?

If both parents graduated from Brown, what are the chances of their children being smart?

This is something that is genetically determined..Probability is there that smart parents will have smart children but all depends on the upbringing of the child.

Depends on what kinda smart your looking for, theirs book smart, street smart, common since smart, etc. Kids will only be what you make of them.

Intelligence is an inherited characteristic, but falls along the normal curve, so statistically the odds favor intelligent children, there is no guarantee on any single kid.

Having a degree makes you educated, it doesn't necessarily mean you're intelligent.

Most of the time yes, if the parents are well educated they’d push their kids harder to do well in school.

It usually works out that way. Also, the fact that Mon & Dad value education usually influences their children so that they will do well in school too.
