Could there be different cadet branches from different generations of monarchs inside a same royal dynasty?

Of course. Most monarchs have multiple children. Each one could head a cadet branch.

That has happened many times, but as the succession usually follows prescribed routes it rarely makes any difference to anything. It is possible to be members of several ruling dynasties by marriage and descent.
