Are their actually people regarded as "ninja's", or "rockstars" in tech companies like Google , Microsoft , Apple ? If so who are they ?

    I have a friend who is a top guy in tech. VP of various "Star" firms, venture capitalist till he got bored with it. Now DropBox. You are the last person on Earth I would give his name to.

      Yes, I've worked with a few electronic engineers who were in the rockstar league. They might be circuit designers, programmers, team leaders, managers or anything really. What distinguishes their work (imho) is usually a clarity of thinking informed by experience and/or knowledge.
