No way you put an age on it. Either the voice gives out, or you start doubting yourself. No calendar date.

When you're dead, which means if you're still alive, age doesn't matter, just go for it!

I would say never but when you get to like 60, that's when you know it's late. Many stars start out as teenagers but don't let that put you down as many have started at 20,30, 40 sometimes even 50. Like most old school singers started in their twenties or thirties, Mariah Carey for example started at 20 yeats old.

Modern popstars mostly either started in their mid or late teens. Justin Bieber and Usher was only 15.

Florence Foster Jenkins did it at 44. She was more infamous than famous though.

  • It's never too old. Susan Boyle was like in her 40s or 50s when she was discovered. Julio Iglesias didn't start his singing career til he was 24 and he became one of the best selling artists ever.
