10 coulombs of positive charge flow from 9v positive terminal to negative terminal 3v. what is the change in potential energy of charge?

    ΔV = 9-3 = 6.0 V

    ΔPE = ΔV*Q = 6.0 V * 10.0 A*sec = 60.0 V*A*sec (joule)

    The change in volts is 9-3 = 6 V

    but the definition of a volt is a JOULE per COULOMB

    So the potential energy LOST is 6 V = 6 Joules per coulomb.

    And the total potential energy lost is 6*10 = 60 Joules.
