In my older dog's case it was colon cancer. She was gone from me in a number of days.

This dog needs an immediate trip to the Vet as an emergency. Like get up & off the computer & be a 'walk in' at the closest Vet clinic. Dire emergency. Go now.

It's always going to be something serious, even Parvo..

We don't know but this is serious and needs to be seen by a vet IMMEDIATELY - as in its at least a minor emergency.

That looks like frank red blood from the tower part of the digestive tract or possibly from a very bad bleed a bit further up. Take the dog to the vet asap (even the E Vet if the problem is ongoing) to work out what is causing it. To confirm Giardia they like stool samples collected over 3 days as it's cyclical, but you really can't wait that long.

    keep offering her fresh water.

Giardia can but you definitely need to get that dog to a vet ASAP.

My dog had that a few years ago. She had pancreatitis and almost died. It can be life-threatening if not treated.

Get your dog to a vet ASAP so s/he can be checked out.

I disagree but you're entitled to your opinion. My dog was 9 when she got sick and lived another 4 years as a healthy companion.
