Checking to see if cells are empty vba?

all my cells are empty i.e. there is no text in them yet vba does not evaluate it as such .

I do have a background color.

the lines of code i have used is

Do Until IsEmpty(Cells(roww, 2))

And I've tried to use this one

Do Until Cells(roww, 2).Value = ""

Both evaluate to true even when the cells in that column is blank, as I mentioned before this worksheet does have a background color

Nvm hoes I figured it out all on my own.

If someone takes the time to try to help you with a solution, multiple times, and you don't even have the courtesy, or take the time, to respond... Whether it be, 'worked', 'didn't work', or even 'stick it in your a**. That is lack of common courtesy. So, I have to conclude that you are the jerk.
