Print spooler is not running and won't start access denied?

    You need to be an administrator. This is usually done by opening a Command Prompt - CMD.EXE as an Administrator(right click choose run as). Then you can use Net Stop Spooler/Net Start Spooler commands. You may also need to actually do other things if there is a bad printer driver loaded which prevents the print spooler starting when you switch on.

    Have you turned it off and unplugged it for 10-15 minutes, then reconnected? Be sure to allow it plenty of time to reactivate itself. Sometimes that resolves issues. If that doesn’t work, go to the manufacturer website and redownload the driver for this printer and any software updates.
