Costs can vary tremendously, so there's no point in throwing out a number. Go straight to the 'horse's mouth' - contact local contractors that are in the business of demolition.

Things that can make what seems like a basic tear down and removal of debris very expensive:

Trees/power lines in the way. If a utility company has to move power lines to get the proper equipment in, or an arborist must cut down tree limbs, the job just got a lot more costly.

Asbestos building materials - these need to be handled carefully by asbestos abatement professionals.

Dump fees - costs for this can vary widely.

Depends on the size of the house, and whether the demolition includes site clearance or just knocking it down

The cost will be based on how difficult the job is. If the house is on open property where they can just bring in bulldozers and maybe a wrecking ball, it will be cheaper than if the house is on a small lot with a zero lot line where they will not have as much room to maneuver, the amount of equipment they can use will be reduced, the time frame will extend longer, etc. You need to call a couple of demolition companies and get estimates - that is the only way you will know for certain,
