'True Direct' DVD burner will recognize CD disks but not DVD disks any longer. Any ideas?

    depending on how old it is you could have just been used so much it just be warned out. or it can read it but not wright on it. I know depending on your computer they don't support DVDs or CDs probably because CDs can store more information. When you buy a movie at best buy or target it will more likely be stored on a cd than a DVD. id recommend adding more about when you got it. it can aslo be it only support cds
