White Worms In Snail Tank?

This is the first time I ve raised a snail, so I m not sure if this is cause for alarm, but I was looking at his tank earlier, and I saw little, white/transparent worms crawling around the bottom. Is there anything I can do about this? Do I need to get rid of my snail? Do I need to throw away his enclosure?

This has me quite worried and I would most definitely appreciate some suggestions on what to do and ideas of what the worm guys are.

Not clear whether you mean an aquatic snail or a land dwelling species. Aquatic tanks often develop Planaria worms which feed on old food and are harmless. Land dwelling set ups for snails attract fruit flies which have a larval (worm) stage in their reproduction.
