Do novel authors and readers like reading comic books?

Excluding the adult comics that I read when I was younger and small snippets I find once in a while on the internet, I've never read a superhero comic book in my life. I prefer novels. Do you like reading comic books? Yes/no and why?

Yes, authors and readers of novels also like comics.

Neil Gaiman and Dan Abnett are two great examples of novel authors who also like and have written for comics.

I used to read practically every comic book that came out for marvel back in the 90s. Also read some of the dc like Superman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman. Vertigo: death, sandman. Image comics like gen 13, Youngblood, WildC.A.T.S., Spawn, Angela, shaman’s tears, wetworks, cyberforce, witchblade, darkchylde. Valiant: Bloodshot, XO Man-O-War, harbinger.

I also read a lot of fantasy/science fiction books like the xanth series and I, robot.
