Well most likely yes. If (s)he had a bad/tough past perfectly normal. If the child has been through either abuse, around users with drugs, and a death of a family member very normal. If none has happened, why is he/she scared/ what makes them have anxiety? Is it severe? Isthmus anxiety making him/her skip out on an activity? If so, see a pediatrician

Depends on the severity. "Anxiety" is a very broad term. It's normal for anyone to feel anxious from time to time. If that anxiety interferes with daily activities, sleep, school work, etc, then it's time to talk to a doctor/therapist.

There are many things that can cause anxiety for anyone, of any age. There are also different levels of anxiety. It’s good to talk to your kid, find out what may be causing the anxiety, in order to know if it’s “normal” anxiety and stress that comes and goes, or if it’s something more serious. I would say yes and no. You shouldn't be too worried if it is short-term but if you notice it taking a negative toll on your childs life then you need to take proper action. You should sit down with your child and have a good conversation with no judgement. I was a child who suffered from anxiety and it was really important to have a trusted source that I could go to for help. A lot of people have anxiety and can live happy healthy lives. Try to see if there is a source to the anxiety and make sure that your child knows that their feelings are valid.

Most people feel anxious sometimes but it's not normal for anyone to have chronic anxiety.

Life might be a bit overwhelming for your toddler right now ... She's bound to outgrow it ... might just be a phase

If your child is having trouble with things, you need to speak with him or her and help them figure these things out. If kids are making fun of him, help him figure out how to respond. If homework seems overwhelming, determine how to deal with that. If the child is in too many activities, decide which ones to eliminate.

Other than that, consider eliminating caffeine, which can also cause anxiety.

Yes. I know a few kids that are younger than that and have depression.
