    Yes, he afraid of the vacuum cleaner. Also:

    Wind.

    Fireworks.

    Loud noises.

    Most other dogs.

    The lawnmower.

    The weed whacker.

    The pontoon boat.

    The water.

    The dock.

    The granddaughter's drone.

    The UPS/mail/Fed-Ex truck.

    Thunder and lightening.

    The hose.The snow blower.

    Occasionally big trucks, like maintenance ones will scare them.

    she's afraid of her own shadow............she trusts nothing, and thinks everything is about to jump her.

    Big time scared of the vacuum, yeah. Also most other loud sudden noises except, oddly enough, power tools. My power drill, nail gun, ...Don't seem to bother them.

    My little tuxedo cat Sylvester is fearless. He’s not afraid of vacuum cleaners, thunderstorms, strangers, nothing.

    I don’t remember if they were scared of a vacuum. One was scared of thunder and both were scared of baths; they hated water.
