Is there a reason for the Princess House Windsor Rose collection to have not increased in value since 1974?

Update:

Thank you.

Supply and demand. If not many people want to buy something, its price doesn't go up. If this is a china collection, stuff like that is not much in demand these days. A few years ago my father died and left a set of Royal Doulton china, bought in 1974 and barely used. We tried four different places to sell it, places that specialized in that kind of thing. They all said they wouldn't buy it because they couldn't sell it.

It was probably mass produced and people kept it for "best", so there is much of it still around as it has been little used and not broken.
