Woman came up onstage, told me to F off, called me a prick and then left.

An actress I directed fell over and smashed her face against the floor ten seconds before the end of the show. Did the last monologue bleeding from the mouth. Went straight to A & E. It was terrifying.

I was in the chorus for "Fiddler on the Roof". I was running a fever, but still went on. In the middle of the dinner scene I fainted.

I took a leap toward a ladder and missed it. Only 5 feet up but still knocked me silly.

Too many to post a list.

    Missed entrances

    Costume malfunctions

    Light issues

    Fog machines failure

    Sound cues missing

Props - the bane of an actors existence

Actors who injure themselves or other actors.

A fellow actor who dislocated a knee onstage.

An actor who was trapped in the "onstage bathroom' with a nosebleed.

An actor who had to run off stage to vomit

One night when I was the Assistant Director for "Once Upon a Mattress", the curtain fell. And I mean it FELL. Right on top of the actors on stage. We had to stop the show to reattach the curtain to the rod.

Once in Footloose, the guy who played Chuck said, “I wouldn’t let him eat my ***” instead of “kiss my ***”
