is it possible that i am getting light primer strikes due to improper placement on moon clips?

my redhawk model 5032 (45acp/45colt) got quite a few light primer strikes. i just got it back from the factory for the literal 4th time. im using speed beez moon clips so they arent factory clips. and some of the rounds on the clip dont properly spin (if you use clips youll know what i mean)

they claimed that all the issues of the gun were resolved.

is it a fair assumption to come to that the clips are to blame?

If the .45 Colt rounds fire fine, your gun is fine. If you use cheap/crappy moon clips and the gun does not work properly, I would assume that the cheap/crappy clips ARE cheap/crappy.

Do you get light strikes with 45 Colt ammo? Have you tried factory moon clips to compare with the speed beez clips? If you continue getting light strikes with factory clips you now know it's not clip related. When Ruger was on the phone with you, they didn't ask you to use factory clips before sending the gun in?

    Use factory moon clips.

Easiest way to find out is to shoot some .45 Colt ammo without the moon clips and see what happens.
