Are New Edge Mustangs (99-04) disappearing?

I don't ever see them around anymore. Especially the nice GTs and Cobras. Would it be worth it to buy a New Edge stang in 2019?

Must just be a local phenomenon, I see a half dozen per day around here. Not an uncommon sight at all.

An immaculate, all-original low mileage example yes, IF you're willing to put it in storage and wait another 20 years.

Fords are notorious for rust and engine failures after more than 15 years or a lot of miles in harsh conditions. They are scrapped or sold to other countries with mild climates.
